En avril 2005 Alain Caron est invité par le prestigieux WDR big band de Cologne, en Allemagne, pour une série de concerts et d'enregistrements sous la direction de Michael Abene de New-York. L’Orchestre national de jazz de Montréal revisite ce répertoire en sa compagnie et celle de ses vieux collègues, le batteur Paul Brochu. le pianiste John Roney et le guitariste Pierre Côté, sous la direction de Marianne Trudel.

In April 2005, Alain Caron was invited by the prestigious WDR big band in Cologne, Germany, for a series of concerts and recordings under the direction of Michael Abene from New York. The Orchestre national de jazz de Montréal revisits this repertoire with him and his old colleagues, drummer Paul Brochu, pianist John Roney and guitarist Pierre Côté, under the direction of Marianne Trudel.
